Make A Donation

We received the following message on December 15, 2004 from John & Jeannette of the HillTop Cabins and Motel:

Hilltop Cabins & Motel accepts the recent challenge made by Arbor Gate Inn. We intend to expand on what we did last year by offering each of our guests an opportunity to win a "free night's stay" when they donate to the "Grand Marais Sno-Trails Association". All they have to do when they check in is fill out a raffle ticket and all of the proceeds are donated to Sno-Trails. Last year, thanks to the generosity of our snowmobiling guests, we gave away several "free nights" and raised close to $500.00 for the club. We hope to do even better this year! We know how hard the groomer drivers work to keep our trail system in such good shape for all of us. We're committed to doing all that we can throughout the season to make it the best it can be at all times. This year we're also implimenting the "Town Team" concept to insure better conditions in and out of town when traffic is heaviest. We thank you for your continued support.

Be safe out there and have fun, but be aware of others who are also out there enjoying the trails along with you. We ride with our kids so please remember, slow down and don't drink and ride. The lives you save may be ours!

We received the following message on August 20, 2004 from Pat & Lori Savage of the ArborGate Inn:

Sno-Trails Association Members:

We would like to make the following challenge to match our lead to other businesses that benefit from snowmobiling.

We will give 2% of our income during Jan, Feb and March to the Sno-Trails Association for grooming. At the begining of each snowmobile season, we will write a check for 2% of the previous years income during those months. This year, the amount that we will be donating to the Sno-trails Association is $600.89.

We hope this contribution will be of some help to those of you that work throughout the night to maintain our local trails. Although we never seem to have time to try out the trails, aside from times when mother nature interferes, we hear NOTHING but EXCELLENT comments about the condition of the Grand Marais trail system from our guests.
